Public Urinating In Falmouth Creates Jobs
In a classic case of the saying “Out of bad comes good,” the insanitary habit of urinating in the lanes of Falmouth has created jobs for wardens, whose jobs it is to ensure that no one litters or urinates in the lanes surrounding the town center, Water Square.

On the job!
Congratulations to the authorities (Trelawny Parish Council) for this step. It is one in the right direction and suddenly the stench is gone from the lanes. You no longer have to hold your breath when walking through.

On the other hand, the town needs more sanitary conveniences. Having one somewhere in the town will greatly reduce the likeliehood of people urinating on the street. When one has to go, most people cannot wait to go all the way around to the Seaboard Street area.

People walking through what is locally unofficially called 'Spicy Nice Lane' or 'Piss (urine) Lane.'
Anyway, we give thanks for small mercies. Thanks again to the Trelawny Parish Council for this positive change. Now visitors will not be faced with the unpleasant odor while moving through theses streets and employment opportunities have been created for a few of our citizens.
