FOTA Annual Trelawny Reunion Picnic 2012 – Photos and Videos
Sunday, May 27th, 2012 was the annual FOTA (Friends of Trelawny Association) Trelawny Reunion Picnic at the Anthony Wayne recreation area in Bear Mountain, New York. The verdict was divided as to whether he crowd was bigger than last year, but in my estimation, it was much bigger than previous years. It was filled with many new faces and many of the old familiar faces were absent.
Indeed, there was a low turnout for the traditional pre-picnic link-up (Saturday night) in Brooklyn (over by Anne and Country). There was also only a handful of people at the Memorial Day cookout that also took place at Anne and Country’s home (Monday) for the first time. In past years, it was held by Tall B in Queens, but the crowds of previous years became uncontrollable, hence it was scaled down to a low key get together.
The annual FOTA (Friends of Trelawny Association) Trelawny Reunion also held a church service, ball and symposium, but Falmouth Photos was absent from these 3 events.

Talla B’s Memorial Day barbecue was reduced to a get together in Queens on Monday.
These are four of the short videos I took at the FOTA Trelawny Reunion Picnic. Initially, I have added two videos, but the others will be added as soon as they are uploaded to YouTube. The fourth video I find interesting as it features a Dancehall dance-off that shows our Jamaican dance culture is alive and well outside Jamrock.
